Meet the Business Owner

My name is Vickie Sampson and I am a licensed Esthetician, ASCP member as well as the proud owner of SkinEssence.  I was fortunate enough to be educated at the renowned Paul Mitchell Skin Academy.  Since graduating and becoming licensed I have remained committed to post-grad education.  

Continuing education is imperative in acquiring new skills and knowledge that I can offer my clients.  I have over 100+ hours in post-grad classes from The International Dermal Institute, Le Mieux, Image Skincare, ReZenerate, Epicuren, Rhonda Allison, Control Corrective, NuFACE, Dermalogica and others.  They include Aging/Menopausal Skin, Advanced Facial Massage, Treating Sun Damaged Skin, Successful Acne Treatments, Chinese Diagnosis, Touchology, Pigmentation Disorders and many more.

History of SkinEssence

Established in 2005.

When I started SkinEssence in June of 2005 it was the realization of my dream of owning my own skincare business.  Leaving behind the limitations that accompany working for someone else in the skincare industry opened the door to the creative freedom and control I had hoped for.

Having the ability to design and customize treatments, spend more time with clients when needed, include specialty add-ons without the concern of charging extra, and having the control to keep my prices affordable for my clients are just a few of the upsides to owning SkinEssence.

Location is a vital part of any business and I have the unique pleasure of having set up shop inside of My Salon Suite  in beautiful Mission Viejo, California.
